Do you feel breathless while walking?
Shortness of breath can be due to a number of reasons. In order to assess the right reason behind it, one should either make note of its occurrence and the activities which trigger it.
What is shortness of breath ?
Shortness of breath is a problem when you experience it even after doing minor physical works like walking stairs or walking normally on an even surface. Due to this, the normal functioning of an individual is affected. The medical term for shortness of breath is dyspnea.
When to worry about it and when it is normal?
If breathlessness occurs due to sleepless nights, high temperature, more activities than usual daily activities then there’s nothing to worry about. Pulmonary lung function test should be done to know lung capacity and underlying problem. It is like a screening test for breathlessness. If it is normal and other functions of the body are also normal, then the person can be kept under observation and monitored during lung function tests on a regular interval.
What are the reasons behind breathlessness??
One can experience breathlessness while being at high altitudes, or when the air quality is at a dangerous level, or when the temperature is too high or even after doing a heavy workout and obesity. There are various medical and non medical reasons/ conditions behind it The medical conditions which trigger breathlessness in individuals are Asthma, COPD, Pneumonia, tuberculosis, pulmonary disease, and various allergies. COVID is also recognized to be affecting the breathing ability of individuals.
Which exercises are helpful to reduce breathlessness while walking?

Simple posture one can adapt when getting breathless while walking:
Lean forward toward a chair,wall or sit down and bend forward. Do the repetition of the following breathing exercise: slow breathing through your nose and breath out from your mouth by pursing your lips.

While walking on the treadmill if you feel breathless then start to reduce your speed first then lean forward while slow walking and do repetition of slow breathing through your nose and breath out from your mouth by pursing your lips.

Morning back pain can be frustrating, especially when you have a big day ahead of you.Some people find that their back pain is worse in the morning, while others have more pain at the end of a long workday. Even though back pain is a common complaint, you don’t have to suffer from this discomfort forever.
What are the possible reasons behind your back pain ?

There are various reasons, common ones are:
Age :
Back pain is more common in a age around 30 or 40years
Lack of exercise: Sitting for long hours while working can lead to Weak muscles in your back and abdomen might lead to back pain.
Excess weight :
Excess body weight due to sedentary lifestyle can cause extra stress on your back.
Improper lifting :
Using your back instead of your legs while lifting heavy weights while working in the kitchen or at work can lead to back pain.
Diseases :
Some types of arthritis can contribute to back pain.
Psychological conditions :
People prone to depression and anxiety appear to have a greater risk of back pain.
Smoking : Smokers have increased rates of back pain. This may occur because smoking leads to more coughing, which can cause herniated disks or disc degeneration.
